Ive been artistic as long as I can remember, my earliest memory of being 'arty' is colouring in the raised patterns on my wallpaper in all different colours as a young child... much to my mums disapproval! I can also remember melting down a load of different coloured wax crayons in my bedroom as I loved the way all the colours sort of mingled... I got in trouble for that too!

I took art as an option at school, but where I'm from, 'art' is commonly used as a 'cop out' in school , rather than do 'real work', so it wasnt till I was much much (quite a lot in fact) older that I realised just how good it feels to be confident enough to say 'I am an Artist'  In my home town they would say, what sort of artist, a p--s artist! and so , unfortunately that was my belief!

Over the years I have enjoyed many different crafts, I always seem to go back to my Crystals & Stones, in which ever way shape of form takes my fancy. They seem to 'call me'

I used to sell beads on Ebay, which became a full time job for me, it eventually brought me to owning my own bead shop for a couple of years, which I really loved, BUT... whenever someone wanted to buy my nicest beads I felt reluctant to sell them... I wanted to keep them, ALL of them, they where MY beads LOL. At the time I didnt understand why, as I didnt make jewellery then. One day I decided to get some tools made to sell in my shop, I kept a set for myself...... and this was the big day... with the right tools, and all my beads , I found I could make pretty much anything I could imagine, I found I had a natural flare for it, although I didnt have much confidence at the time, I always though everyone could make better and nicer jewellery than me.

Just after my shop had closed down, I was inside sorting through my beads, putting them all away in boxes, all very sad at the time, then a lady came through the door, I didnt know her at the time, but it turned out to Jackie Dennison, from the Canadian TV show Rescue Mediums..... a bit of a long story here, the previous day I told my friend that I wanted to do psychic development classes, now, in my shop, stood the very lady I needed to speak to, as she actually runs these classes at The Feathers Academy in Northwich, needless to say I enrolled!! In fact , I ended up having a 'bit of a shop/workshop' in Feathers which was great. This was the beginning of my 'confidence boosting' period. Jackie was constantly telling me how talented I was, and she always introduced me to new people as a Creative Artist, and so, that is now what I am!! A very big thank you to you Jackie for instilling this confidence in me. My jewellery is now seen on TV in Canada... How cool is that! ( Jackie also bought me my first Law of Attraction book) say no more!!

I am now teaching the art of jewellery making at a local Learning Centre and I teach on a one to one or group basis in my studio.

Along the way, some very special people have helped me more than they realise, through all my ups and downs, successes and failures, one way or another , these people have helped me more than they realise. At the top of my list is my dear husband Miles (or Smiles) who has supported me through thick & thin and has always been there to pick up the pieces, Thank you Smiley, you are one in a million and I love you to bits. My other inspirer's, helpers & 'piece picker uppers' have been, and in no particular order...

Alison Gallimore (RIP my dear friend) Jackie Johnson, Jayne Church, Carolyn Carr, Claire Richardson, Claire Trevor, Ronnette Hallworth, Rebecca Sutton Alison Gatley, and of course my kids,Jake Tasha & Jacy.... Thank you all so much :))
